Just before surgery the patient indicated the specific point of pain. That point is shown by the needle tip in the picture. Usually the pain is felt where the adhesions begin.
Gallbladder Adhesion
Patient had RUQ pain and nausea. HIDA scan showed 90% contraction but complete reproduction of symptom path report showed chronic cholecystitis.
Inguinal Hernia
Hernias can cause pain but may be difficult to diagnose because of small size.
Intestional Adhesion
Intestinal adhesions can cause more pain than other adhesions because of intestinal movement. They can also cause obstruction of the intestine or just reduce movement and function of the bowel.
Uterine Adhesion
Uterine adhesion which has developed from a c-section. The uterus is attached to the abdominal wall.
Adhesion Material
Many patients have been treated for hernias by placing artificial material inside the abdomen and pelvis. Adhesions can form to such material. In this patient the intestine is attached to the mesh causing chronic pain and obstruction.
